General practices return this month in the Eastern District with ringing at two 8 bell towers in the High Weald.
2pm - Heathfield, All Saints (Old Heathfield!) - 8 bells, 11cwt in G (all 1921 Mears & Stainbank) - Ringing in this delightful 14th century church in the old village of Heathfield, a mile or so from the more modern town.
After the ringing at Heathfield, teas and coffees will be served there.
4:30pm - Waldron, All Saints, 8 bells, 12cwt in G (all 1912 John Warner & Sons) - following the refreshments we will reconvene at this Grade I listed 13th century village church for further ringing.
All ringers are welcome, including those from other districts and beyond.
Ringing will include rounds and call changes, as well as Plaint Hunt and methods to suit the repertoire of those present.
