I wish to notify you of the ringing morning at Laughton 10.30-12.30 Saturday 18th November 2023. Arrangements have only just been confirmed, hence the late notice of this event (1 11 23). It is unusual for the Southern District to stray outside its borders for a practice but as Laughton is within easy reach of many Southern District towers this was thought to be worthwhile.
This is a general practice with emphasis on Rounds, Call Changes, Plain Hunt, Plain Bob and Grandsire Doubles.
Laughton is a balcony ring of six bells. The church is set in the countryside with numerous footpaths nearby. There is plenty of space in the church. Limited parking is available outside the church. If this is full further parking is available near the school and village hall. There will be a break for refreshments half way through the morning.
