Eastern District Monthly Practice
Join us for the April event as we ring at Dallington and Brightling.
1:30pm - St Giles, Dallington, where ringing will take place on the 10cwt ring of 6 bells.
3:00pm - Follow in the steps of John "Mad Jack" Fuller with ringing at Brightling, on the 12cwt ring of 8, a church whose churchyard is dominated by "The Pyramid": Jack Fuller's mausoleum.
The walk element of this outing has been removed due ot the very wet underfoot conditions that are still plaguing us in mid-March, meaning it is too wet to trial the route beforehand at the moment. Although conditions may well have improved a lot by the end of April (let's hope!), the need to put final times on the day's arrangements. If anyone fancies a walk on the day, there is the circular Jack Fuller walk around the follies from Brightling Church, which can be done before or after ringing.
