Event Description:
In a unique change from our usual tower bell programme of exciting Northern District events, April's Saturday Social is going miniature! We're heading to The Stonyhurst Ring on Saturday 5th April (details inc. location below), from 2pm - 4pm. The Stonyhurst Ring are a very fine example of a full-circle mini-ring of 10 bells right here in the Northern District, and all are welcome to come and have a go!
We know some (maybe even most!) may not have rung on a mini-ring before, so plenty of available mini-ringing experience will be on hand to offer tips and tricks! Mini-ringing is a very accessible form of ringing and we encourage everyone regardless of familiarity to come along. Ringing is tailored to suit all, with rounds on 6, 8 & 10 onwards, including Call Changes, Plain Hunt, Grandsire, Stedman, and even Surprise Major and beyond (subject to available experience!).

Only limited parking is available at The Stonyhurst Ring, so attendees travelling from close local areas are please strongly encouraged to car share where possible. Enter via the gate indicated by the red arrow. Parking onsite once through the gate.
