Doubles & Minor Practice at a tower TBC - keep an eye out for details.
We are trying a Friday night this month at a different tower to try and open this up to different members who can't make the usual Wednesday.
Methods of the month will be: Grandsire Doubles, Stedman Doubles, Plain Bob Minor and Single Oxford Bob Minor
Join us for the monthly mid-week practice for those learning Plain Hunt and learning to treble on Plain Bob/Grandsire, through to short touches of doubles & minor methods to suit the repertoire of those attending.
- First steps from Rounds to Plain Hunt
- Learn to "Plain Hunt" the treble to methods
- Take your plain course of Bob Doubles to Bob Minor, or a Grandsire plain course to a touch
- Stedman onwards for more experienced ringers (subject to having enough ringers that can ring your dream method!)
- Try a new method*
Experienced helpers to fill in and "stand-behind" are essential to the ringing development of learners and of course are always welcome!
*Recent events have included Plain Hunt, Plain Bob, Winchendon Place, St Simon's, Grandsire and Stedman too
