Event Description:

 

Sun, Sea, Food and lots of ringing in the seaside town of Eastbourne. This will be an action packed day, so come along. All ringers are welcome, regardless of ability and experience.

  • 9:30am – Meet at Eastbourne railway station and walk to St Mary’s for ringing.
  • 10:00 – 10:45 – Eastbourne, St Mary. 8 Bells, 15cwt.
  • 11:15 – 12:00 – Eastbourne, St Saviour. 10 Bells, 24cwt
  • 12:00 – 13:45 – Lunch break. Bring your own or visit one of the several cafes and pubs close by. Plenty of time for a few pints.
  • 13:45 – 14:45 – Eastbourne, Christ Church. 8 Bells, 8cwt.
  • 14:45 onwards – Optional tea on the beach to round the day off. Possible opportunity to ring handbells too.

Please do come along. This outing is open to all districts, especially the eastern district which Eastbourne lies in. Josh Hutchinson and Rob Lane will be on hand if you are ringing on new bells which you are unsure of. Or just turn up on the day.There is a pay and display carpark at Eastbourne Station and a pay and display at Southfields carpark just up the road from the station on the left. These are both a 15 minute walk from Christ Church/ the beach.
