Event Description:
Join us on Saturday 4th October, as the Northern District visits Maresfield and Fairwarp, with a tasty pub lunch in between! The day features ringing at both towers, split by a social lunch at The Forester's Arms, Fairwarp.
Timings for the day are as follows:
10:45am - 12:00pm: Ringing at Maresfield, St. Bartholomew (8, 14-1-5cwt)
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Lunch at the highly recommended Forester's Arms, Fairwarp (menu available here)
1:30pm - 3:00pm: Ringing at Fairwarp, Christ Church (8, 15-2-0cwt)
*Please note the small change to timings at the start of the day; now 10:45am to accommodate church activies at Maresfield before us.
Ringing is tailored to suit all, from rounds on 8 onwards, including Call Changes, Grandsire, Stedman, and even Surprise Major (subject to available experience)! Of course do not feel obliged to join for the whole day, all are welcome to join us for any part of the event! Lunch of course is also available by own arrangements. A small tower donation of £1/tower is kindly requested.
Final numbers are required in advance, so if you plan to join us we kindly ask you fill in this short form by 27th Sept. to allow us to pass these on!
