All welcome at this practice - newer ringers looking to develop their skills and more experienced ringers as helpers. This practice will include rounds and call changes, Kaleidoscope exercises, leading and listening skills, developing ropesight, intro to Plain Hunt, up to Grandsire and Plain Bob Doubles - depending on who turns up. If you wish to attend, you must sign up in advance (at least 24 hours beforehand - if we don't have enough, we'll cancel).
Numbers for this practice will be limited to 4 learners and 6 helpers maximum.
Please note that under-16s must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian or other nominated adult), and have a completed "permission to ring church bells" form signed by their parent/guardian.
This practice will be held at a tower with a ventilated ringing room. Attendees are encouraged to take a lateral flow test beforehand, and to use hand sanitiser before ringing; facemasks are now optional in places of worship. Numbers of people in the ringing room will be limited.
