We heard today that Pam Wright died on Thursday 3rd November 2022 after a short illness. Pam and Arthur retired to Sompting and rang at both Shoreham and Heene. Pam hasn't been able to ring for quite a few years, and Arthur also stopped ringing about a year ago, having found the steps at both towers a challenge.

Pam's funeral will be at 2pm on 16th November at Tribes, Broadwater, Worthing and the family have kindly requested that donations in Pam's memory be made to SCACR.

UPDATED: I am sad to report that Arthur Wright (Shoreham and Heene) died this morning (29th November), just 26 days after Pam. Six ringers attended Pam's funeral and, while Arthur was very smartly turned out and aware of who we all were, it was clear that he was devastated. This must be a huge shock for their family. Arthur's funeral will be near Sheffield where he had moved to be near his daughter.

Arthur was ringing with us up until approx October last year, when the stairs became too difficult.
