On 11th April 1766, the first peal in Sussex by an all Sussex band was rung at St Mary's Horsham. We cordially invite ringers and non-ringers to join us for the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of this historic event!

Around the town centre (11 am - 4 pm).
Tune Handbell Ringing and Belleplate Tune Ringing Performances
In the marquee in the Carfax (11 am - 4 pm).
Rope-Making Demonstrations
In the town centre (Medwin Walk, next to Boots; 11 am to 4 pm).
Ringing Exhibition
Exhibition about bellringing and St Mary's bells, as well as books from SCACR library; St Mary's parish church (Friday 8th to Monday 11th April, 10 am to 5.30 pm).
Refreshments, Ringing Publications Shop, and Dumbbell
Refreshments for a donation, including ploughman's (cheese or ham) lunch, coffee, tea, joice and a wide selection of cakes! In the Barn (11 am to 4.30 pm).
Beer Tent
Including a special bellringers' beer (keep your eyes pealed - pun intended!): "Tripples Tipple". In the Carfax (10 am to 5 pm).
Church Service
5.30-6.15 pm, in St Mary's parish church.
Quiz and Supper
In the Barn, on the Causeway. Doors (and bar) open 6.15 pm, quiz starts 7 o'clock. Quiz Master: Isabel Woodward. Entrance only by tickets purchased in advance - SOLD OUT!. Beer, wine and soft drinks available from the bar. Free parking in the Barn car park (after 6 pm) and on-street (Causeway and Normandy after 5 pm).

FREE parking available for volunteers and bellringers: St Mary's School Playground, off Denne Road (near the church).
