Michael Jennings, a ringer at Crawley, sadly died on 26th October 2016. He will be very much missed by the Crawley ringers and over a wider area of Sussex. He was the longest serving member of the Crawley band having learnt to ring very soon after the second world war.
Michael's funeral is to be held on Tuesday, 15th of November, 2016, at 11:15 am in the St. Richard's Chapel
Brenda Dart, a ringer at Lindfield, sadly died on 8th October 2016. She was sadly suffering from cancer and was in St Peter and St James Hospice, Haywards Heath when she died last Saturday.
Brenda had learned to ring in the 1950's, had a break and came back to it in the 70's. As she knew she was dying she had planned her funeral which she would like to be a celebration of her life. There will be a Thanksgiving Service on 3rd November at 12 noon at All Saints, Lindfield - the bells will be rung open at her request. There will be a private family cremation in the morning.

John Cooper, who rang at Crawley until 2005, has sadly died. John's funeral service will be at 1pm on Tuesday 9th February 2016, at St John the Baptist, Crawley, followed by buriel at Snell Hatch cemetery, West Green, Crawley. Colin Nicholson, who learnt to ring in Eastbourne and returned to Sussex, ringing in Bexhill, has died after a long illness.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday 17 February, 3.30pm at Hastings Crematorium followed by a wake at the Robin Hood in Icklesham,
