Death of Robin Green (former Henfield ringer)

We have just heard that Robin Green has sadly unexpectedly died. He used to be a ringer at Henfield before he went to live in Oxfordshire, though he still regularly visited Sussex.

Robin passed away in early August, while out travelling around the country in his boat. He peacefully in his sleep on 7th August 2017, aged 67.

All are welcome at the funeral if anyone would like to attend - to take place at Worth Crematorium (Sussex & Surrey) at 3.15 pm on Friday 8 September.

Death of Jean Blackman (former Western district ringer)

It is with regret that we have to inform you that Jean Blackman (wife of Peter Blackman) passed away on 21st April after a long illness. Prior to her illness she had been a long standing member of the West District of the SCACR.

Death of Anthony Balchin (Keymer ringer)

We've just heard the sad news that Antony Balchin, a ringer at Keymer for many years, died on Monday 3rd April (aged 83). He was a ringer for over 50 years.

His funeral is on Tuesday 25th April at 2.30pm in St Cosmas & St Damian

Death of George Coulson (Angmering ringer)

George Coulson, a ringer at Angmering, sadly died on 14 December 2016. He will be taken to Angmering church on Thursday 5th January, where he will rest during the combined Angmering and Findon practice that evening

George’s funeral will be at Angmering Church on Friday 6 January 2017 at 2.00pm. There probably will be ringing either side of the service (to be confirmed).
